take it as a personal project.
build some kind of web chat room in the code playground with some real time database like firebase or some other free service.
it could be a nice learning experience and also help the community :)

for the very least it will be something to learn from.
there are a lot of free services which can be used and are fairly simple to use once you understand them.

and even if you eventually end up with a chat room filled with "testing testing" or "is this even working?" or "Mr. Swagsta #1 KING" messages or whatever, you still have the knowledge you gained from creating the app.

and the knowledge that there are people in the world who actually call themselves Mr. Swagsta...
but that's a different story...
