It depends on what you already know.
If you know Java, use Android Studio.
If you know HTML, CSS, Javascript, use Apache Cordova.
If you know C#, use Xamarin.
All these ways allow you to create awesome Android applications ;)
The last two actually allow to create cross-platform applications.
