What wrong with Sololearn,

I activated the account via email, but it still says that I need to activate it and therefore I can't chat in messages. what could be the solution to the problem?

In order to prevent spamming and whatnot, Sololearn decided to make newcomers focus first on learning and then they can socialise 😄
As Just Python said, you need to learn for around 21 days before you gain access to private messages.
