My first experience in programming was in the 90s and 00s by customizing IRC clients (mIRC Scripts). It wasn't really programming, I just followed the patterns I've found, and repeated them without really knowing what I was doing. The second experience was by creating or modifying macros for Ultima Online (online multiplayer game, where you had to accomplish repetitive tasks, so there was a way to program your character to do these tasks). After that, I started my bachelor's course in Computer Engineering, and finally started to learn real programming concepts.

Mine was in college, our first lesson was java stdout & stdin, our prof was writing the purpose of the code and after a few minutes, I started thinking "What the hell is wrong with me, why can't i understand any of this.. Maybe i chose the wrong course..".haha but little by little, i started to understand specially the loops and arrays, which some of my classmates hated XD..btw my course was computer science, i chose it because it was related to computers and the guy that owned the computershop i used to play at said his course was Computer science..

My first experience with web design is when I was in primary school in 2001. We had to do a web designing workshop that lasted a week or so. Websites looked terrible back then though I remember being extremely excited when I created my first web page. Fast forward 16 years, I wanted to start a business online. I have alot of functionality in mind for this particular website. And after searching on Quora for quotations on how much it would cost (5 digits), I decided to learn coding and build it from scratch myself. I am almost done with HTML5 and half way through CSS3 with w3schools.com. I go to sololearn to practice and answer quizzes. After these 2, I'll learn Javascript and then I have to choose a backend language. I like WordPress so I might just go for PHP.
