Isn't this just a reoccurring function called from within itself until a particular set of conditions are met? I don't know it just seems like shorthand to me. Like a do-while loop. I am sure it could be used for more than just factorials.

classe animal has makesound function i.e grr..... nd classes cat and dog also have makesound function i.e meow nd woof respectively... due to inheritance classes cat and dog also have makesound function of animal class ie grr.... now my q is how compiler will know which function to execute is nt ds ambiguous??... two choices r dere.... 1 make sound function of animal class ie grr 2 make sound function of own like woof or meow.... any help would be really helpful....

I am coming from a decent C++ background, C++ has issues of datatype handling but I see python has dynamic data type management policies (didn't know what to call them), in doing so is there any memory complexity?

looks like java has some cut and dried rules about capitalization... I typed a code using ...main (string []args)... and got an error until I changed it to ...main (String []Args)... pls anyone know d rules guiding character CAPITALIZATION in java... pls post, I'll appreciate.

hye i want to know how to do the coding when the question give the no of items bought and the price. for example number of items bought 1-9 and the discount price for 0.01-10.00 is 0%, 10.01-100.00 is 2% and for 100.01 is 5%.

i want to write a line of code that looks like this if (a>10){ I know that in c++, you cannot just have greater than (>) or less than (<). j it must be (>=) or (<=). But the code I need to write does not include the equal to(=). it just has to be greater than 10. What do I do?

can someone tell me how to make it impossible for a user to type a 'userchoice1[x]' value that does not range from 1 - 10. In the short code below, I declared an array of five elements. But I'm getting confused on how to use it in a while loop. My main question is , if the user inputs a userchoice1 value that is less than 1, I want the code to keep looping until the user inputs a number that is not less than 1. But I don't know if the 7th line (userchoice1 [x]++) shows the right way to loop it.

Hey there, I don't know why, but when I import tkinter on IDLE like this: from tkinter import * And I say: window = Tk() Even known I use python 3.2.5, which should be able to use Tkinter, the python shell raises a ValueError that says that Tk() is not defined. I am very sure I use python 3.2.5 and tutorials from the Python Foundation say that is what I have to do. But it still doesn't work. Does anyone have an idea of how to solve this problem? Thank you!

so far in section 1 question 2 area all of the videos have been ads that if you skip the add it just brings up the questions you need to answer. also if you play the add all the way thru you get the same exact thing. luckily I'm using this as a refresher course but I would think if I didn't know anything about c++ then I could be pretty lost missing videos.
