Scanner input = new Scanner(System.in);
System.out.println("Type in radius for cylinder");
radius= inputnextdouble();
and it said cant find symbol radius=input.nex...

what do i do?

radius needs a type, like input has it (Scanner). Something like

Double radius = input.nextDouble();
