C is a widely used universal high-level programming language, primarily intended for system programming.
Embedded C is a set of extensions to C language.
Embedded C used the same syntax and semantics as C language, but have some extensions that are used to support enhanced microprocessor/microcontroller features like I/O hardware addressing, fixed point arithmetics and so on
Embedded C is used for microcontroller based applications that has limited resources.
