Should I learn c?

Well I'm interested in c++ (and java) to learn programming video games , i saw that it was derived from c just in case should I learn c# before c++??

C is not used in game development anymore. C++ is the most popular one, big AAA games for PC or PS4/XBOX are written in it. C# is second choice and is popular because of the Unity engine.

c# is derived from c/c++
not the converse ;)

so, no there's absolutly no needs to learn c# before c++.

however, you could learn c before c++, if you're interested by low level programming ^^
